    1. Aunt Tilda by Deborah McClatchey reminded me of some great spook stories I was told as a child Old excentric aunts can be great fun but also very scary The book uses this to its advantage Very good.

A modern perfectly witchy tale Aunt Tilda is a little bit off and has something up her sleeve A lot of interesting history on the Salem witch trials if you aren t familiar The story is totally engrossing, quite wicked at times and has an excellent ending Written in the true style of the classics with some modern updates it was an excellent read.
